Rachel Donaldson, MSW, LCSW, RYT-500

is a Psychotherapist and Yoga Teacher specializing in integrative mind body therapies and mindfulness practices.

Rachel studied psychology and graduated with honors from Harvard University. She completed the Masters in social work program at USC. Rachel has worked as a therapist and health care manager, supervising and training/supervising clinicians.

Rachel teaches various mindfulness-based, meditation, yoga and mind body programs at a major medical center in Los Angeles. In addition, she has trained a wide range of medical professionals in the area of self-care, motivational interviewing and mind body medicine. Rachel also has a private psychotherapy practice for individuals, couples and teens and is a consultant to non-for profit agencies where she provides training and supervision for psychotherapists.

Influenced by the fields of interpersonal neurobiology, attachment theories and mindfulness, Rachel believes in the capacity for all people to heal themselves and realize their full potential if they are provided the right tools and a safe, compassionate environment.

Rachel holds the fundamental belief that good therapy requires a strong connection between the therapist and client and tools that help integrate and accept the whole person – ones that connect left and right brain and mind and body.
